Recruiting Update: Key Players for 2023 With Visit Coming Up and Cowboys Offer 2024 QB

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State football recruiting is coming up on two very important official visits that will impact the finish of the 2023 class, and the Cowboys, which have now issued some 58 offers in the 2024 class recently offered the brother of a current NFL starting quarterback.

58 offers for 2024? That's sick.

we need to have only 20 offers, and all of the rest of the spots should be 5 star kids in the portal from Bama and UGA.... what the heck is Gundy doing?

ha, ha, ha, good one.. I guess I did leave that question hanging a little bit, but thought folks could follow along...

what is Gundy doing with future recruiting? is that better?

in this modern environment, do you think it's easier to sustain a program offering tons of developmental 3-star kids, or taking advantage of the Portal and pulling in under used 4 and 5 star kids? (clearly we need to do both, but the 58 offers really stands out when that's twice as many as we can even take.)

Cali you are distinguishing players as 3 star and 4 star 5 star. You notice this right? The guy that thinks ranking are total bs and have zero merit. So you do or don't believe in rankings?

I try to speak in the same language and use the same terms of those that I am conversing with. I am using their own arguments against them

my belief is also included in my statement (taking freshman developmental players, versus guys that have had another year or 2 to develop at other top programs)

for example, we brought in 2 LBs in the 2022 class, Benson TT/JUCO and Gabe Brown Fr. Which one is providing the most immediate benefit? (regardless of looking at stars)

Sure but when others use that language you get all riled up and proclaim how illegitimate rankings are. I call bull.

you guys need to stop this crap.... I DO NOT. YOU ARE CONFUSED. Total lack of comprehension.

I should not have to defend myself from personal attacks by you... these forums are supposed to be a safe haven from personal attacks, like the last two that you have made on me.

"Others" say that OSU IS BAD, that OSU IS FALLING BEHIND, that GUNDY CAN'T RECRUIT, and then they use the bogus ranking services as their "evidence". It's not the "language" that I challenge, it is the opinion that is drawn, attacking my team using bogus nonsense.

Please try to keep this distinction straight in the future. The rankings are bogus. OSU is not bogus.
