STILLWATER – We’ve starting a new game-week series here at Pokes Report called Over/Under. It’ll be five topics with an over/under associated to them. You’ll then drop your predictions in the comments below on how you think they’ll turn out.

No. 11 Oklahoma State is looking to bounce back into the win column this week as they lost to No. 15 TCU on the road in double-overtime, 43-40. The Pokes will be hosting No. 20 Texas for a ranked Homecoming showdown at 2:30 p.m. CT on ABC. The Cowboys were victorious in last year’s tilt down in Austin, 32-24.

Be sure and drop down to the comment section and comment on how you think each topic will turn out.

The first Over/Under will be Offensive yardage: Over/Under 400 yards

The Cowboys are 2-1 in Big 12 play, with wins over Baylor and Texas Tech. In the win over Tech, the Pokes posted 434 yards of offense, while they posted 379 in the win against Baylor and 386 against TCU. On the other side of the ball, the Longhorns are holding opponents to just 347.4 yards per game. So, can the Cowboys bounce back this week and clear 400 yards of total offense?

Second half scoring: Over/Under 14 points

The Cowboys struggled to move the ball and put points on the board in the second half against TCU, scoring just six points on two field goals. However, against they scored 20 in the second half against Baylor and 21 against Tech. Will the Pokes be able to put points up on the board in the second half?

Texas passing yards: Over/Under 300

While Texas is averaging 253.7 passing yards per game, the Cowboys have allowed 300+ passing yards in two of their three Big 12 games this season, Baylor (345) and Tech (379). While the Cowboy defense be able to hold Texas to under 300 passing yards in Saturday’s game?

OSU tackles for loss: Over/Under 4.0

The Cowboys are one of the best teams in the nation when it comes to tackles for loss as they’ve combined for 55 on the season, good for second in the nation. As for the Longhorns, they’re averaging giving up 4.7 tackles for loss per game. Can the Pokes combine for at least four?

Tanner Brown: Over/Under 3 FGs

Tanner Brown has been very crucial for the Pokes the past three as he’s combined for 30 points on made field goals alone. He’s been tabbed the Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week the past two weeks, giving him three on his career. Can Brown continue his scoring ways and make at least three field goals against the Horns?
