One of the Gutsiest Wins I've Ever Seen at Oklahoma State

STILLWATER – This column is not about statistics, not about the final score, not about the highlights on the field. This is about what this Oklahoma State team has inside. Hey for a lot of the Homecoming game on Saturday it didn’t feel good. Texas in many ways had the bigger, faster, and stronger players. Damn thos Longhorns look good in their road white uniforms. Noww, I liked the Cowboys all orange and those helmet throwbacks to the mid-60s were sweet.

Totally agree, Robert. I thought we were done at 2 or 3 points during the game. Was sure we'd lose by 2 or more touchdowns. I was cussing Dunn's play calling. I'm still shaking my head trying to figure out how we pulled that game out starting in the 2nd half. Such a gratifying win.

When Jason came down at a funny angle on the sidelines after that second interception!!! I was wincing myself because I thought Oh God, not the knee!!! Glad that it looks like he will be ok!!!

I echo the sentiments....

The 2nd half was a complete reversal, especially defensively. I remember Gundy's words from the half, "we have to stop the counter, if we can stop the counter then we'll be okay".... it turned out better than okay.

Ewers was under pressure and never settled much of the game.

Sanders seemed to have his best protection of the season.

Great job team

Just heard Luginbill on SXM Sunday show. Some interesting comments.

Gundy is a Dude.
Gundy's assistant coaches are Dudes.
OSU culture is a REAL Thing.
OSU young receivers will be special.
Sanders one of only two QBs in college football to ever have 12 top-25 wins.
Ewers may have had the worst QB performance he had ever seen.

Personal opinion. Ewers will have some good games, but he's not and will not be a program difference maker. Pressure will always be a problem for him. That TTech frosh QB is the best up and coming QB in the league.

the announcers for the OSU/TT game were commenting on Behren Morton, saying that he was higher rated recruit than Patrick Mahomes, 4-star, yada, yada, yada, and that was before his onfield heroics.

they were very adamant about who he is, and what to expect from him in the future.... if we hadn't hobbled him in that game, the outcome could have been disastrous for us.

That kid is going to be a nightmare for teams in this league as long as he stays healthy! I am hoping we have a QB like that in Flores!
