I'm looking forward to seeing how this young man's recruitment develops, maybe seeing him trade his Texas High orange and black for the O-State version.
I've followed Texas High for a long time, dating back to when we moved to Wake Village (west side of Texarkana). My oldest son graduated from Texas High in 2001, after attending & playing football there for his junior & senior years. It was a rude awakening for him (and us) to jump from Oklahoma Class 3A ball at Noble to Class 4A in Texas. From their website, it appears a couple of his teammates are back coaching there. Nathan Vasher was another teammate, going on to play for Texas & Chicago Bears.
