Update: Saturday's Bedlam Game Postponed Due to Positive COVID-19 Test
STILLWATER – According to a source, the first Bedlam installment of the 2020-21 season is being postponed due to COVID-19 precautions. The game is being called off due to a positive test and contact tracing within the Cowboy basketball program, a source told Pokes Report.

“The well-being of the young men in our program has always been and will continue to be the most important thing to me, my staff and our administration,” said head coach Mike Boynton in a release. “We’ve been very fortunate to play the games we’ve played thus far, and we will await the advice of our medical staff before making any decisions on a return to team activities.”
According to the release, the Cowboys have paused all basketball activities. The Big 12 also announced it will get with both schools to determine a date that works for both programs in the future.
This is the second game this season the Cowboys have had postponed as the West Virginia game on Jan. 19 has been put off due to COVID issue within the Mountaineer program.
The Sooner program has also been facing COVID issues the past few weeks as Brady Manek and Jalen Hill have missed the past two games due to positive tests and contact tracing. This is the second time an Oklahoma State player has tested postitive during the season, but the first time it’s affected enough of the team to have to postpone a game.
The Big 12 is expected to put out an official release on the postponement soon and a makeup date has yet to be decided upon.
