Looking for Official Nike Folds of Honor Team Gear for Saturday It's at The End Zone
STILLWATER – Our nation celebrates Veteran’s Day on Friday, Nov. 11 as we pay honor to all those that have served our country and the many that have made the greatest sacrifice in defending the United States and our freedoms and way of life.
College football has really adopted the celebration of honoring our military veterans and paying honor to their service and commitment. Teams that are on the road this week celebrated Veteran’s Day last Saturday with special uniforms, special honors and events, and in many cases, merchandise to pay homage to the occasion.
This Saturday, Nov. 12, the day following Veteran’s Day the Oklahoma State Cowboys will have their Military Appreciation Saturday in the game vs. Iowa State. It will be a black out for the Cowboys and their fans in Boone Pickens Stadium as the team will wear all black uniforms. The fans are encouraged to wear black and Nike, the official supplier of uniforms, shoes, and clothing to Oklahoma State athletics, has a multitude of clothing that is available for the occasion.
There are several different hooded sweatwhirts that are in olive green, back, and feature the script Cowboys as well as the Folds of Honor logo. They also have olive green coaches polos with a military style Oklahoma State logo. There are three different hats that have been put out to match the various attire.
The item that many fans and players may gravitate toward won’t necessarily work for the “black out’ Saturday, but the bright green camoflauge long sleeve t-shirts are very cool looking and have the Nike theme of this college season with the school name, Stillwater, Okla. and established in 1890 on the shirt along with some military type additions. There are several hats that match with the camo shirts as well.
Oklahoma State fans can have any and all of the merchandise mentioned here by visiting The End Zone on Elm Street in Stillwater. The End Zone got a truck load of boxes this week containing all of the merchandise mentioned here and probably some not mentioned. Check it out before Saturday at The End Zone.
