Oklahoma State Freshman Braylin Presley Enters the Transfer Portal

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State freshman receiver Braylin Presley has entered the transfer portal, he told the Tulsa World on Monday.

“After praying about it and talking with my parents about it, and after talking with coach (Kasey) Dunn, I knew I had to leave,” Presley told the Tulsa World.

Dean Ruhl of the World reports they asked Presley if he would reconsider entering the portal, to which he responded with “No, I’m for sure entering (the portal).”

Presley is the second offensive player to enter the portal for the Pokes as he joins quarterback Spencer Sanders.

Presley, the younger brother of OSU receiver Brennan Presley, came to Oklahoma State in the 2022 class from Bixby (OK) HS. He held offers from Army, Baylor, Kansas, Louisville, Memphis, Missouri, Nebraska, Texas Tech, Tulsa and West Virginia among others.

He played in seven games during his freshman season in Stillwater, recorded two carries for three yards and five receptions for 26 yards. He also had one kick return for 19 yards.

He was named the 2021 Oklahoma Gatorade Player of the Year after an incredible senior season. He had 109 carries for 1,105 yards and 20 touchdowns, as well as 56 catches for 665 yards and seven touchdowns.

Yeahhhh, we need a new OC and OL coach. I like Dunn and Dickey as people but this is a really bad look. They just haven't been good in their current roles.

Gundy has restricted the offense for years also. I'm not taking shots at anyone but it's definitely been stale for awhile. I remember why back the fanbase hated how we used tyreek hill. The ok state offense is just not so exciting anymore and players are taking note.

Blame the coaches or whoever you want but, these kids are all just spoiled children who don't know what they really want to do. The portal and NIL as currently set up create an unsustainable situation for college athletics.

I'd say the chances of having a competitive team next year are somewhere between slim and none. Good players want to be part of a winner.

This is about the only player I have seen since Barry Sanders with the quick stop and then full speed moves. Put 15-20 pounds on him and he is a running back like Deuce Vaughn at K-State. Small and gets lost. I was shocked all season we did not see more of him in various roles. He will probably go somewhere else and start. Good luck to him.

I wrote this yesterday on another article. NIL/Pay to Play/Buying players is here with no sideboards and the NCAA is as inept as usual. So, get in the game or get steam rolled. When you are on the "high road" and your enemy grabs you by the throat and drags you into the ditch your fight is no longer on the high road. Fight for survival in the ditch or roll over and play dead. Also, many of these "student athletes" have come from poor backgrounds and when someone comes along and says they can pay them more to play and then they can help their family or have some more it is hard to argue with taking the money. It is naive to think that "loyal and true" and a good education can trump the more money, a bigger stage and an education somewhere else. In America, where capitalism is king, that does not make you spoiled it makes you smart. Get in the game or become every Big 12 team's homecoming game.

Baylor breaking in a new QB and WRs and defense. OU had a completely overhauled team and coaching staff. OSU had everyone coming back with a new Defense "that everyone helped come up with not just Knowles" and had a complete egg of a season. "Cowboy Culture" lost you what 4 of the last 5. Lol come on. Didn't play a sure fire athlete even when things just weren't working anywhere.

OSU had everyone coming back???? We lost 2 NFL LBs, 2 NFL DBs, an NFL RB, NFL OL, and more. Losing 6 players to the NFL is a pretty big talent hit.
