STILLWATER – It is rumor season, no doubt about it. There was some ridiculous material out on social media on Thursday (Dec. 8) as Oklahoma State practiced for the second straight day ahead of a recruiting weekend that will include a mix of high school prospects in linebacker commitment Poasas Utu of Kennedale, Texas and Manor, Texas linebacker Ike Esonwune (6-2, 215).

It will be nice if Oklahoma State will adjust faster, recruit better - Robert Allen. Hey everyone see this? Recruit better? Seems like the fan opinion is catching on. Maybe when a fan says we need to recruit better y'all will stop going off

I don't disagree but you all make it sound like "recruiting better" is so easy. I look at recruit better as it's what we've been doing. No, we don't get 5-stars and a large majority of 5-stars. My 2 cents is we are doing this because with "what" we do sign the staff grooms them and makes the Pokes competitive every year. Being competitive is the "norm" which is good and the next step is get to compete with Big 12 Championships every year. You do that you'll most likely get into the CFP expanded playoffs if you can get to the Big 12 Championships. Just my opinion but I believe in in wholeheartedly.

Yeah, because like, Gundy has never tried to recruit better. It's taken 18 years, but now Gundy understands he needs to recruit better. Recruiting better is what Gundy needs to do. I'm glad the idea of recruiting better is being promoted by fans like you. Now Gundy has the backing to recruit better.

Pheeew. All good now.

yeah. We recruit so badly that our kids keep bailing for Ohio State, LSU, A&M, and all those other places that have a hard time recruiting top players. The only thing wrong with our recruits is that after we put the time and effort into developing them, then they get bought out by NIL deals at money rich schools.

Yeah it's being acknowledged. So yes it's better now. Everyone is getting out of denial about it. Things change when they are faced head on and maybe that's happening now. Instead of just saying it's fine when it's not. Glad Robert Allen agrees

Only problem is you have a Jimbo Fischer and A&M that have had top 10 to15 classes that past four years according to "experts" yet has presided over a dumpster fire the last couple of years save an upset of Alabama in 2021 and yet has to come after one of our three stars in Cobb because half his top 5 class of last year which was all 4 and 5 stars is in the portal!

Oh, Weiberg did an interview? With the hard hitting interviewer Allen. That's good I thought he was on sabbatical. A college AD should never be comfortable. He should be knee-deep in the NIL and know what's going on and how that can help his coaches, that is his job?
