STILLWATER – After being postponed due to issues with COVID-19, Oklahoma State Cowgirl basketball’s game against Kansas, originally scheduled for Jan. 9, has been rescheduled for Feb. 2, according to the Big 12.
The game, which will be play in Stillwater, comes just three days after the Cowgirls travel up to Lawrence to face KU on Jan. 30. It’s going to be a rather busy couple of weeks towards the end of January and into February for the Cowgirls as they face Kansas State on the road on Jan. 25, Texas in Stillwater on Jan. 27, Kansas on the road on Jan. 30, then again in Stillwater on Feb. 2.
But first, the Cowgirls will have to face a rather difficult No. 9 Baylor squad in Stillwater. The Cowgirls are coming off two-straight losses, 90-80 to Iowa State and 67-59 to West Virginia, both on the road. As for Baylor, who has missed most of Jan. dealing with COVID issues, had its 61-game home winning streak snapped last weekend when they 75-71 to Iowa State. The Lady Bears haven’t lost back-to-back games since Feb. of 2015.
Tipoff for the game is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT in Stillwater, Jan. 20.
