Cowgirls Fall 77-58 to No. 9 Baylor
STILLWATER – It was a rough day at the office for Oklahoma State as the Cowgirls fall to No. 9 Baylor in Stillwater, 77-58. It marked the third-straight conference loss for Jim Littell and Co.
With the loss, the Cowgirls fall to 9-5 overall on the season and 5-3 in Big 12 play.
The Cowgirls were led by Natasha Mack, who posted 21 points on 40% shooting from the field with six rebounds, three steals and two assists.
Junior guard Ja’Mee Asberry also had a solid night as she posted 17 points on 31% shooting from the field.
As for Baylor, it was Moon Ursin who led the way for 20 points.
The Cowgirls were out-shot and out-rebounded by Baylor tonight as they shot 33% from field and hauled in 34 total rebounds. As for Baylor, they shot nearly 50% from the field and hauled in 45 rebounds. The teams were square at 19 turnovers apiece. The Lady Bears also held the Cowgirls to a season-low 58-points.
The Cowgirls will be back in action this coming Monday, Jan. 25 as they’re on the road against Kansas State. Tipoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. and will be streamed on ESPN+.
