Oklahoma State Offers Standout Enid (OK) HS Receiver Tykie Andrews
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State has extended an offer to one of the best athletes in the state of Oklahoma State. Tykie Andrews, standout Enid (OK) HS wide receiver in the 2023 class took to Twitter Sunday evening to announce he’s been offered by Kasey Dunn and OSU.
This marks his ninth offer, first Power Five, which include Dartmouth, Drake and Navy. It also comes just a few months after the OSU staff extended Andrews a preferred walk-on offer back in October.
This is an offer Oklahoma State fans have been calling for for a long time as Andrews very quickly developed into one of, if not the best receiver in the state under the tutelage of Enid head coach, and former OSU superstar receiver, Rashaun Woods.
Checking in a 6-1, 180-pounds, Andrews dominated defenses across the state this past season as a senior as he hauled in 135 receptions for 1,151 yards and 17 touchdowns.
Following the season, Andrews was named to The Oklahoman’s All-State team as a second team selection.
The Cowboys signing one high school receiver in December, Camron Heard out of Furr HS in Houston, TX, and they’ve signed Washington State transfer receiver De’Zhaun Stribling. They hosted D3 All-American transfer receiver Leon Johnson III over the weekend on an official visit, a player who would be a great addition to the signing class.
