Alnatas Picks Up Big 12 Player of the Week Honors After Wins over Baylor and TCU

IRVING, Texas – After leading Oklahoma State's women's basketball team to a pair of victories, Naomie Alnatas was named the Big 12 Player of the Week it was announced today by the league office.
OSU earned its second consecutive Quad 1 victory on Wednesday, defeating No. 18 Baylor for its first win in Waco since 2008. The win also snapped a string of 14 consecutive losses to the Bears and was the Cowgirls' first road victory against a ranked opponent since January of 2020.
Alnatas was crucial in the road win, finishing with 17 points, including 11 in the fourth quarter, four rebounds and an assist in 21 minutes of action.
On Saturday, the Cowgirls ran their winning streak to three in a row with a triumph over TCU in Stillwater.
The Cayenne, French Guiana native connected on eight of her 17 shots from the floor, including a 6-of-12 effort from the 3-point line, to finish with a team-high 24 points, 14 of which came in the second half, against the Horned Frogs. Alnatas also grabbed five rebounds to go with two assists and two steals in the winning effort.
Alnatas' selection makes her the second Cowgirl to earn the distinction this season, joining Taylen Collins.
