Game Flow

  • Kalib Boone found a cutting Caleb Asberry for an easy dunk to start the scoring for OSU on its opening possession of the game.
  • The Cowboys offense got off to a quick start, scoring on five of its first eight possessions, but trailed Kansas State 11-10 heading into the first media timeout.
  • Six different Cowboys scored a bucket as OSU headed into the second media timeout down 15-14, 11:49 left in the first half.
  • OSU has scored 12 of its 19 points in the paint, but the Wildcats outside shooting has been the difference to this point. Wildcats up 22-19 with 7:38 left in the half.
  • Tyreek Smith provided a huge boost off the bench offensively and defensively, scoring six points, grabbing two rebounds and blocking one shot in just four minutes as the Cowboys still trailed 29-27.
