Watch: Mike Boynton Discusses 71-68 Win Over Texas Tech

Oklahoma State head coach Mike Boynton met with the media down in Lubbock following the Cowboys' 71-68 win over Texas Tech to snap a five-game losing streak.

The win gets the Cowboys to eight wins in conference play, giving them the No. 7 seed in the upcoming Big 12 tournament. They’ll face the No. 10 seed Oklahoma in the second match-up on Wednesday evening, March 8. Tipoff is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. CT and will be televised on ESPN2/U.

It was senior guard Caleb Asberry who led the way with 24 points, the most he’s scored since arriving in Stillwater. Asberry shot a blistering 50% from the field on 8-of-16 shooting from the field, including going 7-of-12 from 3-point range.

Bryce Thompson was next on the stat sheet with 19 points on 8-of-15 shooting from the field, 3-of-6 from 3-point range.
