STILLWATER – Oklahoma State’s pair of centers, Kalib Boone and Moussa Cisse, were both named to All-Big 12 teams following the 2022-23 regular season. Boone was named to the All-Big 12 Third Team, while Cisse was named to the All-Defensive Team, as announced by the conference on Sunday afternoon.

This marks the second-straight season Cisse has been tabbed an All-Defensive selection, which makes him the first Cowboy since Marcus Smart in 2014 to earn the distinction. As for Boone, this marks his first All-Big 12 selection of his career.

Cisse was tabbed a semifinalist for the Naismith Men’s Defensive Player of the Year earlier this week.

The Cowboys led the Big 12 in blocks this season, with Cisse leading the conference with 55 blocks in just 27 games. That’s an average of 2.0 blocks per game. Boone is in third with 35 blocks in 31 games.

Boone is averaging 11.5 points and 5.1 blocks per game. His points are third on the team, while he’s second on the team in rebounding. He’s also shooting an insane 59.5% from the field this season.

The Cowboys are back in action later this week as they’ll face No. 10 seed Oklahoma in the opening round of the Big 12 tournament on Wednesday, March 8. Tipoff is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. CT and will be televised on ESPN2 or ESPNU.
