Updated Bubble Buster Scores/Will the Pokes Get In?

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State basketball is either on the bubble or on the wrong side of it, depending on which bracketologist you choose to believe in. ESPN’s Joe Lunardi after having the Cowboys in moved them to the first four out after the 61-47 loss to Texas. Lunardi believes there are around 20 teams vying for 11 spots on the bracket. It is a big bubble. 

Oklahoma State is finished at 18-15 and No. 42 on the NET, the analytic that the NCAA Basketball Selection Committee supposedly uses or relies on the most. Here are teams we believe are in contention with the Cowboys and where they stand.

Mississippi State (21-12) done after losing today to Alabama 72-49 and No. 46 on the NET 

Vanderbilt (20-14) after beating Kentucky 80-73 in the SEC Tournament and will climb seriously from No. 83 on the NET

Oregon (19-14)  done after losing tonight to UCLA 75-56 in the Pac-12 Tournament and No. 44 in the NET

Southern Cal (22-10) done after being eliminated by Arizona State in the Pac-12 Tournament and No. 49 on the NET

Arizona State (22-11) plays Arizona late tonight in the Pac-12 Tournament and is No. 60 on the NET

Clemson (23-10) and done after losing tonight to Virginia 76-56 in the ACC Tournament and they are No. 51 on the NET

North Carolina (20-13) done after losing in the ACC Tournament to Virginia and No. 47 on the NET

Utah State (24-7) and Boise State (23-8) play each other in the Mountain West semifinal tonight late with Utah State No. 18 and Boise State No. 26 on the NET
