Brandon Garrison Played Well in 2023 McDonald's All-American Game
Oklahoma State 2023 four-star signee Brandon Garrison had a solid outing at the 2023 McDonald’s All-American game at the Toyota Center in Houston, TX, on Tuesday evening. The forward/center out of Del City (OK) HS dropped 10 points for the West in the 109-106 loss to the East.
Garrison was a part of the starting five for the West and won the opening tip. He’d go on to finish the game on 5-of-5 shooting from the floor, hauled in four boards, two steals, and an assist and block apiece in just over 20 minutes of time on the floor. He also picked up three fouls in the first quarter of play.
This has been a good month for the soon-to-be-freshman. Garrison was named the Gatorade Oklahoma Basketball Player of the Year on March 15 following a stellar senior season. The 6-9, 210-pound F/C posted a double-double on the season for the Eagles, averaging 16.1 points and 10.1 rebounds per game, along with 3.0 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.7 blocks per game.
He also helped USA Basketball win a gold medal in the U18 2022 FIBA Americas Championship this past summer, in which he averaged six points on 81% shooting from the field and 4.3 boards per game.
Garrison checks in as the No. 30 overall prospect in the ESPN Top 100.
