STILLWATER – The Cowboys team meeting room in the West End Zone of Boone Pickens Stadium was full of high school coaches that came from Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Missouri, and Arkansas as well as a few small college coaches like those from Langston and Southwest Bible College in Missouri.

The more I learn about coach Nardo, the more I believe that Gundy absolutely made the right hire. T he philosophy he uses in his coaching is very similar to what I have had great success with in building project teams. I'm ready to see the excellence in the on-field product, and I believe it will be really good. The whiners that complain that we didn't go get a big name "proven" coach from a Division I school are going to have to find something else to complain about. And they will. My 2 cents, and if I'm proven wrong I'm not too stuck on my opinion to say I was wrong - but there is no Plan B and I don't believe I will have to. Go Pokes!
