A Look at Oklahoma State Basketball’s 2023-24 Schedule Up to This Point

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State is months away from finishing its schedule for the 2023-24 season, with the Big 12 schedule typically releasing some point in September. However, we know of a handful of teams and dates in the non-conference portion of the schedule.

We’ll be starting with the Cowboys trip to Brooklyn, N.Y. and the Barclays Center. They’re once again a part of the Legends Classic up in Brooklyn, along with Auburn, Notre Dame and St. Bonaventure. The games are set to be played November 16-17, but the matchups have yet to be announced, nor have tipoff times or television details.

The Cowboys are 2-2 all-time again Auburn, 1-2 on neutral courts, they’ve never faced either Notre Dame or St. Bonaventure on the hardwood.

Mike Boynton and Co. will be the host team for this year’s Big 12/Big East Battle as they’ll be hosting Creighton on Nov. 30. You can see the full list of Big 12/Big East Battle games here.

The Cowboys also have three of their regular non-conference games lined up, according to college basketball analyst, Rocco Miller. They’ll be hosting Oral Roberts in Stillwater on Dec. 16, will be hosting South Carolina State on Dec. 31 and will make the return trip to Southern Illinois as part of the contract between the two schools. The date for that game has yet to be announced. This will be the first time SIU has hosted a Power Five opponent in 16 seasons.

There will not be a Big 12/SEC Challenge game on the schedule anymore as ESPN decided the 2022-23 season would be the final year. I would imagine the Big 12 will be looking for more games like that, such as the Big 12/Big East Battle.

I'm actually not looking beyond the exhibition trip to Spain....

and looking to see if we can add another warm body or two...

There is not enough real information out yet about our team to make sensible comments on how we might perform against this early slate of teams.

I would love to see OSU get Udeh from Kansas who just entered the portal. During his limited minutes this year as a freshman, he was getting as many steals as the point guards. Fast hands for a big and plays hard. He's got 3 more years to give his next program.
