STILLWATER – Along with the first three weeks of the season and some selected games, the bowl games rolled out their schedule, complete with game times and television assignments.
Under Mike Gundy, Oklahoma State has been to a bowl game every season since 2006, his second season as Cowboys head coach. Included in those bowl games (17 straight) have been five traditional New Year’s Six games with two Cotton Bowls, two Fiesta Bowls, and a Sugar Bowl. There have been 12 others including a win over Alabama in the Independence, Alamo Bowl wins over Arizona and Colorado, Camping World over Virginia Tech and Cheez-It over Miami, Fla., and a Liberty Bowl win over former Big Eight and Big 12 foe Missouri.
The bowl tie-ins for the Big 12 have changed some, so pay close attention plus we list the New Year’s Six at-large games along with the CFP semifinals and the championship game in Houston.
