Armstrong Nnodim One of Many that Stood Out at Down and Dirty Camp

STILLWATER – The Down and Dirty Linemen Camp was Tuesday (June 13) and we enjoyed every bit of it. There aren’t a lot of padded camps around anymore as some states won’t let their high school players particiapte in them and some high school associations won’t allow them. Oklahoma State’s came off without a hitch as the coachign staff instructs the players to be competitive but take care of each other, no cheap shots, keep the physicality above the waist.

Doesn't seem like we had any d1 talent at our lineman camp. Gotta be a little disappointed that major talent isn't making it to our camp.

Looking forward to the write-up on Jack Tanner. We have met him a couple of times. Seems like a good kid. How did Brock Riker (OL) from Brock do at the camp?

I noticed Tyler Mercer (OL) from Prosper was there as well. They are a 6A team that went 5 deep in the playoffs last year. Tyler is a good kid. How did he look? Also, I noticed that Kobe Branham was observing. Was he on his official visit?

Nnodim now reportedly has a scholarship offer. He has also been to ou three times but no offer.

I don't know that they would be considered an "organization" but there is a former University of Tulsa player named Austin Chadwick who publishes a preseason magazine that covers Oklahoma High School football called Vype which is similar in format to Texas Football! You can Google him to find out when the 2023 issue comes out plus I believe he also has a Youtube Channel! Robert Allen usually has him on his show in early August to talk about the high school scene here in State! Plus, like Rodeo pointed out, Robert covers quite a bit of high school sports on his daily show!

I did some research. Kobe Branham has already been on his official visit. It is a good sign for him to be back observing camp this past week. He would be a good one to get. We got to know him and his family at an unofficial visit/spring practice. Good people...
