STILLWATER – This has been a very busy week and I know between the camps like Tuesday’s Down and Dirty Lineman Camp and then the elite “The Show” Camp on Wednesday and then 12 official visitors in recruiting over the five days from Wednesday through Sunday I’ve been running around a lot.

I'd be willing to consider helping the Sewerners out with a game.....but there would have to be several ZERO's (pardon the pun) behind the number that goes in the O-State bank account $$$$$

They can't put enough "0's" behind it to make me want to play them again. That is coming from someone who has been watching OSU football for over 50 years (grad of '73).

Wieberg is in a somewhat tough position, appeasing those many fans who never want another Bedlam game played, and the many fans who hold him accountable for the Dollars side of the business, which often are some of the same exact fans.

Personally, no more Bedlam, not ever.

And I'm good with that, too. I was just acknowledging the old adage, "Everything has it's price", and the price for Bedlam in football should be HIGH. (Said from a perspective of also being a >50yr fan of O-State with a very long line of legacy family alumni, before and after me including my oldest son )

yeah, I get that, but the home-n-home structure of college football doesn't really allow for that, per se.

I see something like that becoming a Pokes sell their home seats to the Sooners and make enough to cover their season tickets for that year.... but the Ath Dept just minimal.

Maybe... just maybe... we could do something like you're suggesting by playing at a neutral site, like we did with Florida State and Mississippi State, or maybe the the time we played the CornShuckers in Kansas City.

some network would have to shell out big bucks for that to happen, and frankly, I would rather play some other interesting school at a neutral site than OU.

but to your point..... we should never consider a 50/50 split at a neutral site... if they're that interested in playing us, then it should be more like 75/25 split of media revenue and gate. Otherwise we could do just as well playing practically any other SEC or B1G team. (or ACC team)
