Predicting K-State to Play for the Big 12 Again, This Time vs. Pokes

STILLWATER – I feel terrible because I procrastinated and in sending in my Big 12 Preseason Ballot to the league office and as a result, I had to send it in without doing my due diligence of going through and picking every game. You have to do it. Feel the flow of the season as some wins lead to more wins, some losses lead to more of those.

man-o-man..... just looking at that OU prediction makes me question all of it.

OU's biggest win is Iowa State? ROTFLMAO.... OMG... all of their other wins are against lesser teams?

OU's biggest loss is OSU? After you ranked the Pokes #2, and have 4-5 BYU beating OU (it seems that would be a far greater loss.... losing to a 4-5 team than to the projected #2 team)


As for OSU, kudos to you for even trying to pick the games; but just like last year, the season is going to go according to whether our starting QB can remain healthy. Without a Sanders/Bowman under center, the season will spiral downward.

With all the new teams, and the horrible scheduling by the conference, it should be an interesting year.

Gundy will choke yet again. OSU isn't beating OU based on Gundy's horrible record against them and they won't be in Big 12 championship game. Gundy isn't a championship coach and one conference title in his tenure proves that.

you could say that about almost every coach in the Conference. (or any conference)

do you have anything fresh or original to say?

I guess Les Miles wasn't a championship coach either based on your criteria, but he did happen to beat a couple of Sooner teams... but wait, didn't Les actually win a NATIONAL Championship?

Pokes will surprise because they're not supposed to. Bowman pulls a Weeden. O-line, laden with seniors, is consistently solid. Running back trio of Gordon, Collins & Nixon establish run game allowing Bowman to thrive throwing to best receiving corps in Big 12 (Presley, Bruce, Bray, Green, Owens, Shettron, Stribling). The aggressive defense once again becomes known for getting sacks & turnovers. New defense shows off skills at every level ... 346 lb monster nose tackle Kirkland; 6-5 285 beast DE Goodlow; the slimmed down 235 lb LB Oliver; the best Safety in Big 12 Daniels lean/mean at 6-4, 215 lbs; CB Harris transfer senior from Ark St surprises, as does the freshman CB McKinney! 11 to 12 victories & they will win the Big 12 title because everyone is telling them they won't!!!
