Texas Football's Recruiting Editor Greg Powers Talks Oklahoma State Recruiting

STILLWATER – Greg Powers and I go way back to the days of a publication we called BG12 Recruiting. Greg lived in Jenks and was covering recruiting in the State of Oklahoma and I trusted him. He knew his stuff and we traded information. Later on we were both working at Scout and then 247 Sports for various sites and I found him to be an astute evaluator of talent and a fair reporter when it came to recruiting. Fair as in not trying to influence recruits but to cover the process.

I listened to the radio show for the first time yesterday. Good stuff... Thanks for the recap! Greg is one of the good ones for sure. Great insight on all of the players from Texas.

If you're into high school recruiting, Robert does the best job of anybody around.

There is really only one other site, and they can't seem to hire anybody with any local or regional experience.

Greg is probably the best when it comes to knowing these players/recruits down in Texas inside/out!!! It is why Robert relies on him to give a good breakdown and analysis on these players and also why Texas Football grabbed him up to cover their high school and recruiting coverage! 24/7 loss was Texas Footballs gain!

He's been around a good while and has always been straight forward.

That other organization clearly doesn't care for the non-bluebloods and believes they can send anyone to post their own tweets as content and that have zero connection with the State much less OSU. Those boards are quickly drowning in negativity.
