Presley, Oliver, and Daniels Make 1st-Team Preseason All Big 12
STILLWATER – The Big 12 Conference released the results of their media voting for the All-Big 12 Preseason Football Team. We put our ballot side-by-side with the actual selections. Oklahoma State had three selections in receiver Brennan Presley, linebacker Collin Oliver, and safety Kendal Daniels. Oliver and Daniels are previous first-team Freahmen All-Americans. Oliver and Daniels were also both on the second-team All-Big 12 team selected by the coaches at the end of last season. Presley was an honorable mention selection by the coaches at the end of the 2022 season.
While we struck out and did not have the Big 12 Preseason Players/Newcomer of the Year the same as our media brethren, we were much closer on the All-Big 12 team with 18 of the same names on the ballot. Of those, 16 selections were in the same position. The Big 12 media voted Brennan Presley in at wide receiver. Pokes Report had Presely on our ballot as a kick and punt returner. We had Kansas State’s Phillip Brooks plugged in at wide receiver while the Big 12 media had the speedster from K-State at the return position.
We were closer on defense with seven identical selections that offense with six. We had the mismatch with Presley and Brooks and then we agreed with Big 12 media on both kicker and punter.
