Head coach Jacie Hoyt will have a mostly new staff and team this season.

Teams will play five conference opponents in a home-and-away series while playing the other eight teams once to comprise an 18-game schedule.

For the Cowgirls, they will face Baylor, UCF, Iowa State, Oklahoma and Texas Tech twice. These opponents will play the Cowgirls home and home.

This is the hardest portion of the schedule as Baylor, Iowa State, and Oklahoma will be projected to be among the best teams in the conference for the 2023-24 season.

The quartet of home-only games will consist of contests with league newcomers BYU and Houston as well as Texas and West Virginia.

OSU's road-only opponents will be Cincinnati, Kansas, Kansas State and TCU.

Opponents were selected based on a combination of geography, historical results and a poll of the coaches to best balance the schedule in terms of travel and competitiveness.

A full Big 12 schedule will be released at a later date.
