Oklahoma State Picked Up Another Bedlam Pitching Transfer in Weber
STILLWATER – Aaron Weber apparently was the odd man out on the pitching roster at Oklahoma. As the draft ended and the scholarships were added up Weber felt he was being pushed out the door, so he entered the transfer portal as originally reported by The Tulsa World and other outlets. Weber was contacted by Oklahoma State head coach Josh Holliday. He came to Stillwater and got a tour of O’Brate Stadium and committed to the Cowboys.

Last season at OU, he appeared in 19 games and through a total of 18 innings as a short specialist. The 6-4, 222-pound Weber was 0-2 and had an ERA of 9.5. He struck out 22 hitters and walked 13 while allowing 20 runs on 21 hits. Opponents hit .284 off of Weber in the 2023 season.
Weber attended Cowley County College in Kansas and went undefeated all year as a conference starter and he threw a no-hitter during his freshman year.
In high school at Edmond Memorial he went 7-0 as a starter with an ERA of 0.96 as a sophomore. He played in the Oklahoma state games as a sophomore and a junior and played in the High Plains shootout during his junior season. He was a four-letter winner at Edmond Memorial High School.
