Brett McMurphy Breaks Story, Like We Said Colorado to the Big 12

STILLWATER – We hinted at this at the start of July and to be honest had stories ready to go the first week of July, but Colorado paused and now the pause is over as Brett McMurphy of The Action Network broke the story that the University of Colorado Board of Trustees voted today (July 26) to leave the Pac-12 and accept an invitation to join the Big 12. 

The Big 12 Board of Directors voted unanimously on Wednesday night in a meeting by phone to accept Colorado’s acceptance of the original invitation to join the Big 12. Yes an acceptance of an acceptance is in the protocol. 

This is a move that Big 12 Commissioner Brett Yormark really wanted to bring to fruition and his constant work has paid off.
