STILLWATER – Oklahoma State was back at it on Monday morning for practice No. 10 of fall camp and this is about the time where players start getting antsy. School is one week away and there is one scrimmage in the books and one coming up later this week. Still, a lot to be determined including who the Cowboys will start at quaerterback. Both the offense and defense are practicing with revolving door units, quarterbacks take turns working with first team, second team, and third team units.

RA - I thought Leon Johnson was going to need a year to adjust to P5 and add some muscle. Is he really showing up?

Thanks

Is it that we are light on LBs ? Would be great if we can have three deep on LBs than 2, cause it feels like we will become thin if there is any injuries on LB.

There's a 0.5% chance Leon Johnson is backing up Stribling. Or that Gilkey is third string. Talyn Shettron far and away is the second guy there IMO.

You are right about, that's per RA on his radio show. I am sure his being overlooked was just a mistake. In fact RA said Shettron was pushing Bray and could end up as the starter.

Yeah lol, we all know Bray will start.

Thanks for the preliminary depth chart... I see some Freshmen making a presence on the 3 deep for the O-Line.

Bray staying healthy is never a guarantee, and Shettron is very good.

Just answering a couple of your comments.

Leon Johnson has had a good camp and yes, they are pursuing a red-shirt year for him and would likely play him four games and then bring him back. Again, depth chart is not official but my guestimation.

As for linebackers there is a three-deep and I didn't put it in because several of those guys on the two-deep play multiple spots and I don't see the threes being as big an impcat there as other positions. I can tell you three linebackers showing up a lot: freshman Poasa Utu, walk-on rs-frosh Chance Clements, Gabe Brown, and Bo Hardy.

Thanks Robert, who do you think backs up Stribling?

You have Bray and Shettron on the other side and both can play the X where Stribling is, so can Blaine Green and Roshod Owens. All of them are cross trained. Cabbiness too.

I'm really eager to see Green and Owens play. They've shown some real ability and then been derailed by an injury. So, knock on wood, here is hoping for an injury free season for them.
