STILLWATER – Oklahoma State practiced for a full two-and-a-half hours on Tuesday (Aug. 15) and they got a lot of work in. Practice was in helmets, shoulder pads, and shorts inside the Sherman Smith Training Center and on the field on the east side of the indoor facility. Lots or work, lots of drills, and then plenty of team work as well raning from pass game, positive field position, negative field postion, and even two-point plays.

Miterko is going to beat out Brooks?

I'll have to see that to believe it. May the best man win but I remember a couple of years back when Etienne came in and Robert was telling us how high he was on Miterko and that Miterko could win the starting LT spot, but after the first game, Birmingham was moved from guard to LT, Miterko was benched and Etienne redshirted.

I realize that Taylor saw a lot of action last year because most of the starters were out, and now is an experienced upper classman, but we're really experienced at OLine at the moment. If Miterko starts, then either Brooks or Wilson doesn't.

I'm glad that he's doing well, but you've been talking this kid up for 3 years now.

I sure hope Robert's correct and we have 8 or 9 guys who can get it done at least at a decent level. Last year with the loss of two guys, our OL still played half way decent in helping get another win over Texas. Two weeks later after TCU I think, against KSU and then others, with OSU down three (or four OL players counting walking wounded), the Cowboys were not even close to the same team.
It appears we may have some mature depth as a luxury on both lines. That doesn't happen often at OSU and is likely the biggest separation of OSU from the Sooners most years.

all true, but it's not only on the OLine, the defense against KState was badly hobbled, and Sanders was knocked out in the 4th qtr.

RA, I've heard you say twice in the last 24 hours that our OL is "solid" but not great. How does this line up with the info in this article?
