Cade Cunningham Tabbed Big 12 Newcomer of the Week
STILLWATER – For the fourth time this season, Oklahoma State freshman Cade Cunningham was tabbed Big 12 Newcomer of the Week following his performance in the 75-67 double-overtime upset of No. 6 Texas in Stillwater this past Saturday.
With that, he becomes only the fourth Cowboy in program history to do so, joining some rather elite company of Marcus Smart, Maurice Baker and Mario Boggan to every do so. Smart currently holds the school record as he earned the Big 12 Newcomer award five times during the 2012-13 season.

Cunningham finished the game with 19 points and eight rebounds, as well as two assists and a block.
On the season, Cunningham is averaging a Big 12 leading 18.2 points per game, as well as 6.1 rebounds per game.
Oklahoma State, who cracked the AP Top-25 for the first time season, is sitting at No. 23 in the country and is preparing for the second match up of the season with Kansas. Tipoff is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 8 at 8:00 p.m. CT on ESPN.
