Fall Camp Ends with a Scrimmage and Good Feelings on Both Sides of the Ball

STILLWATER – Head coach Mike Gundy called last week’s 100-play scrimmage a balanced scrimmage, but he got more balance this week at least in our view. The Cowboys went inside Boone Pickens Stadium and caught some of the cooler temperatures from the hottest day of the year with the eight a.m. start. However, by the end of the near 130-play scrimmage the temperature was in the mid 90s.

Defense brings some optimism this season. But I have no confidence at Oline/RB/QB still. There is a saying, "If you have two QBs, you don't have a QB". None of the QB separating themselves is cause for concern. Seems none of them is playing great. Both of them are playing ok.

Sounds like Sesi is better than some of our other options at RB. Not worried about it. Competition will work itself out during season like how Warren separated himself in 2021.

Also I'm noticing not a lot of praises are given to Oline in these articles. Which is not great. I feel like our offense will dictate how many wins we get this year. We are 2 weeks away, still a lot of things are murky.


Hopefully it will all work itself out soon. And we do better than last year.

No busts today lol. Just the other day we heard about the non athletic and not very fast Bowman going 77 for a TD so… that's something to watch.

This Oline isn't going to be good. As long as Dickey is the coach and letting Walk-ons start we will stink. Hopefully this is his last year. Should have been fired last year.

I tried to explain to you that they bussed up the ZERO U D Line in secret and had them out for a couple of series and Bowman looked like Carl Lewis running down the sidelines against that bunch!!! How are those two future All Americans Venables and Roof they had to bring in POST SPRING FROM THE PORTAL WORKING OUT!!!

How did Stribling and Green look in the scrimmage. I didn't see them mentioned. And, expected Stribling to start because of his performance at WSU. Has he been beat out in fall camp?
