Key Match-Ups and Predictions for Final Non Conference Game with USA Jaguars

STILLWATER – it’s the third anf final non conference game and a very important piece to the puzzle. Oklahoma State again, has a chance to go 3-0 in non conference and South Alabama represents the best oppontent they have played so far, a good physical challenge before heading to Ames, Iowa to play the stingy Cyclones defense and then follow that with Big 12 favorite Kansas State, Kansas, at West Virginia, Cincinnati, Oklahoma, and then at UCF.

Thanks for the information... It will be interesting to see how these key matchups pan out. I heard one of the announcers say the other night that Wes Pahl had been a holder previously. He has had some booming punts.

They need to do whatever it takes to move Birmingham back inside to guard. He is not a tackle. And move Dalton Cooper over to left tackle. That's much more familiar to him. Can I get paid Charlie Dickey's salary?

Interesting the 2 sacks given up at ASU were on Brooks and Wilson, not Birmingham or Cooper. Everyone is focused on the tackles as it is easy to see a speed rusher, but we may really need to improve more inside.

Birmingham has played almost all of his starts at Tackle, 13 of them in 2021, where he was one of our best OLinemen.

Players do not just forget how to play a position. Clearly he is still working to get back into his playing shape after sitting out last season. Coach Gundy and RA have both said we are somewhat rushing him back into action.

I kept hearing the same thing about Dave Aranda two years ago and Joey Maguire last year so you might want to slow your roll! Let's see him have a winning season first!!!
