Man we've blown the shoe selection on this game. Every big ISU play you see a key player slipping down on the turf. Yet ISU never does.

Defense looking tired. These WRs are running free

Well we can always fall back on we got outcoached!!! It's worked as an excuse every week so far. The sad thing is we do get out coached every week

Looks like the Cyclone crowd is ramped up big time.

Our best passing qb has two drives with no pass plays. Dunn might want to cut out passes behind the line of scrimmage.

Man, that was an impressive field goal by Hale. 53 yards is a career-best for him.

Yes, especially with rushing to get set up… lots of people slipping today.

Best passing QB? That's clearly debatable. What's not debatable is the QB with THE worst footwork in history.

I realize our defense is on the field way too much, but this is just awful.

So is it ok for us to say our team is trash or is that still a no no? Have they proven it yet or no?

He doesn't suck, just a statue. Gundy gives us much better chance with that line. Our defense is killing us.

Going to be a long season. This is just a POOR Football team.

Well I don't think this performance is going to put the QB question to rest.

It's not Bowman's fault that our OL leaks like a sieve but that was not good.

Two nice positive plays then a bigger negative.

Are we allowed to call out our DC yet?

While D has had their issues today, to me there is only one screaming issue: The OL.

Bowman and the other QB's can't operate. The fact that any pressure is enough so that they can just fall back in the passing lanes, and that any run is dependent on the RB getting it done on their own. It just gives you no direction to go and be consistently successful.

The D does need to get some stuff cleaned up. We still don't seem to be able to make any adjustments. And, the lack of an offensive threat just allows the opposition to be patient and let the D wear out.

I've been a Cowboy fan for almost 40 years. I'm not trying to be negative, but this team is just not a very good team.
At least last year our coaches could lean on the 'injuries' issue..

Makes me kind of wonder what the people watching practices were looking at. A few kept saying they thought it would be a special year. It has certainly been a special year. This line is atrocious.

We had a minute and a half not everything needs to be down field or on the sideline.

Lol. Gonna be LONG season. At least RA will pick us to win each game

Remember when ra reported the line saying the goal was to be elite this year? Gonna be mean and aggressive lol what a sack of crap. Bowman was moving backwards all game. Gundy better get with big nil deal's because no one is gonna want to qb this offense for nothing. Especially since they are sacrificing a shot to go pro.

Now we wait to see if half the team leaves. Lol

Well at least Tech, WVU, BU, & UH look to be as bad as we are so there's a little hope for a few more wins.

BOWMAN is FINISHED!
If a Div 1A, Power 5 QB can't set his feet and appears to be auditioning for "Dancing Wiith The Stars", then he's NEVER GOING TO MAKE IT. He should have some footwork by now. If Rattay can't help him, then Ratttay needs to go too.

RANGEL is probably already packed and ready to go. Did you see his expression on the sidelines after our last TD that gave us false hope that Bowman could lead a comeback? That expression was a set stare that looked far away into the distance at a different location. Rangel is done with this Gundy Coaching Clown Circus and will be out of here before you can say "OC Dunn is DONE".
Rangel wasn't excited about being within one score of tying it up and possibly stealing a win out of Ames. He was far, far away....and it wasn't back to Stillwater either.

In fact, not only should OC Dunn be reasssigned or better yet, FIRED, so should OL coach Dickey. Both have had more than enough time to prove their worth and they have not.
They should have been fired two years ago, but Gundy is too lazy and worried about his ego than what's best for the oSu football program.
Gundy won't fire or hire because good coaches leave as it should be. Saban doesn't worry about that at Bama, because he knows there are tons more hungry coaches that want to prove themselves and theire will be more quality coaches to take their place.
But not Gundy. He is more concerned with finidng someone, anyone that will stick around. And those that have stuck around aren't being being hired away by bigger programs UNLESS they are really good.

Gundy likes Deione Sanders because Deione does things the way his wants to. This is Mike Gundy saying, "I"m just like Deione Sanders and I'm going to do what I want to do.", which is great if you can make your program grow and improve. Gundy has plateaued since 2011 with occassional highs. But we haven't even sniffed another chance at a NC Playoff game since 2011.

But can anyone recall how bad Oregon used to be? Before Phil Knight gave the university a ton of money to improve their sports programs, especially the 800 lb gorilla -- football -- Oregon was Homecoming fodder for everyone else in the PAC 12.
Now look at them.
And they hire coaches and those coaches get hired away, but they hire good coaches again and again and again and their program is still strong and they're not worried about "The Duck Culture" or having to hire former Ducks because they understand the culture.

Kansas State, Kansas and Colorado aren't afriad to hire outside their alumni base and neither should we.

If Mike Gundy can't get a clue as to how to manange the new college football Transfer Portal and NIL, then it's time he give up the reins to some new, hiungry, creative, agressive coach that at least is wanting to make oSu football a contender again.
I know there are rules, but do we really want to follow them now?
