Oklahoma State Lands Commitment From 2024 Four-Star Point Guard Jeremiah Johnson

STILLWATER – Mike Boynton and Co. just landed their point guard for the 2024 class. Jeremiah Johnson took to Twitter on Saturday afternoon to announce his commitment to Oklahoma State.

Johnson chose the Pokes over offers from Arkansas, OSU, TCU, Texas and SMU among others. This marks the first commitment for the Pokes in the 2024 class.

Johnson, who checks in at 6-4, 180 pounds, will finish his high school career playing in the Overtime Elite League for Phoenix Prep. He previously played for both Putnam City North and Norman North before transferring out west to play for Wasatch Academy in Utah this past season.

This past summer, Johnson played his AAU ball for LivOn on Nike’s EYBL circuit. The No. 141 overall ranked prospect in the 2024 class averaged 13.4 points per game on 47% shooting from the field and 36% from 3-point range, while bringing down 3.2 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 17 games.

Johnson reclassified into the 2024 class from the 2023 class prior to transferring out west following a scary situation back in 2021 in which he was shot twice as a sophomore. The Cowboys were the first to offer Johnson way back in July of 2020, an offer which has paid off.

The Cowboys now rank sixth in the Big 12 team rankings.
