Big 12 Basketball Schedule Released and Cowboys See Lots of Kansas Early
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State recently arranged for their final non conference basketball game having to push Chicago State, the final school and date added, to Jan. 3 just prior to the start of Big 12 Conference play. The Cowboys open the season at home with five of the first seven games inside Gallagher-Iba Arena. The real season opener with with Abilene Christian on Monday, Nov. 6 after playing Oklahoma Baptist in an exhibition game on Wednesday, Nov. 1.
The first trip away will be to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. for the Legends Classi with St. Bonaventure in the first game on Nov. 16 and then either Auburn or Notre Dame on Friday in the second game.
The Big 12 Conference schedule was the last piece to the puzzle and you knew who you would see and where, but the Big 12 has now added the when. Oklahoma State opens Big 12 play at home on Saturday, Jan. 6 with Baylor. An addity is that Oklahoma State will see Kansas twice in a two-week period. The Jayhawks will be at Gallagher-Iba on Jan. 16 and then on Jan. 30 the Cowboys will be at Allen Fieldhouse.
Bedlam comes later in conference play with the Pokes at Norman on Feb. 10 and then Oklahoma comes to Gallagher-Iba on Sat. Feb. 24.
Oklahoma State’s final regular season conference game is on the road at BYU on Saturday, March 9.
