The Cowboys are on a four-game winning streak, tied for first-place in the Big 12 Conference, and ranked in the initial College Football Playoff Rankings.

Did Alan Bowman play against OU in either 2018 or 2020, the years he started games for Texas Tech???

I've watched or listened to this game for about 60+ years now, attended perhaps 25. I try not to get too revved up anymore as I don't want to be carried out of the stadium at 74 years old. Having said that, this one again has that different feel, like we're pretty darned competitive and equal and even better at several positions than OU. In fact, watching KU/OU our coaching seems better. But we'll see on Saturday!

I'd take 227 yards again vs. OU out of Bowman Saturday and honestly, 250+ wouldn't surprise me. I think he's improved and his receiver Corp has improved. You know they almost have to bring an extra man into the box to stop Ollie. Plus, we may have 4 wides back/available to run some legs off and rotate along with Presley and Josiah, so maybe Dunn can and will open up some crossing, deeps and short wides. If that happens, Ollie should get a few openings.

As I read comments from cowboy fans about the demise of bedlam, I get the sense that there are mixed emotions about the game's burial. some want it to continue, in some non conference fashion others are in the "good riddance to bad garbage" camp. I must admit that those occasional victories are SWEET but the consistent failure, heartache, and smug looks from the other side puts me in the good riddance camp. To continue the series as a non conference affair is a non starter for me. Why sign up for a near certain annual loss? Get this last one and be happy about the terms of the divorce.

I am in the camp ..."Don't let the door hit you in the azz on the way to the SEC where you will get your azz handed to you often!"...No sense in continuing the game and I support Gundy's view that they are the ones leaving not us so good riddance. Too many bad memories....too many nasty remarks from Sewerner trash including many of my outlaw in-laws and people I grew up with who have only been on that campus for a football game....time to have a nasty divorce tomorrow and take everything we can from the land thieves. I hope Bosworth shows up and Gundy starts the festivities by whipping his azz at the 50 yd line. Tuck the feasippers!!! See you in the playoffs. GO POKES!!!
