Anybody Want to Give an Ovation for the Oklahoma State Offensive Line?

STILLWATER – How about a hand for the offensive line. You know the guys that tend to get beat up physically on Saturday, and then beat up on social media and message boards during the week. When Oklahoma State was 2-1 and still had three quarterbacks rotating, no definitive running back, and a fuzzy identity on offense the offensive line was being called out for not being any good.

I'll say it…I was wrong. I chastised this line, Dickey, and any supporter of them…huge turn around and I am glad to admit I was wrong!

Happy to eat crow. I thought the OLIne and the team in general was toast. After Iowa St, I posted 4-8 seemed like where they were headed.

Amazing turnaround for the team, kudos to the coaches and players. No matter how the next 3 play out this has been a fun ride. Go Pokes!!

They and their coaches deserve a great deal of credit for pulling it together and improving. It's been incredible to watch. They deserve credit now just like they deserved the criticism early. Great job by all.

the OLine was very good (if not great) in 2021. The OLine was very good in 2022 until we lost our RG and most everyone else spent time injured or playing hurt.

The OLine was good in the first 4 games of 2023, but the offense was not settled.. Springfield got hurt, Dalton missed a game.... once they got everyone back and the settled on an offense (dropped the zone read stuff), then the OLine became great.

almost all of the very nasty comments by so-called fans had little to with coaching ability or player skill and mostly to do with injury and apparent missed decisions on QB play and plays.

OSU has always been at it's best with passing QBs (not dual threat). (Hilger, Gundy, Robinson, Weeden, Rudolph)

Words cannot express how thankful I am that we got to witness that Saturday... What a game!! We are very fortunate to have Coach Dickey!! We are also fortunate to have Mr. Robert. His passion for this team showed in the locker room and it shows in his articles and radio show... Someone that loves College Football and loves OSU... & I agree standing ovation for the O-Line!!! Go Pokes!!

I checked out UCFs defensive stats... Not great. We should be able to rush the ball behind our improved and improving OL. It'll be tough, but we gotta win them all. We must not stumble. Though I am no UT fan, Texas needs to win out to slam the door on OU worming their way into the conference title game.

WVU is still in the hunt too, and the play the Goons on Saturday!!

The Eers only losses are to Penn State, Oklahoma State, and that silly hail mary pass by Houston at the buzzer.

Texas needs to lose and lose often. This is one year I feel really good about beating the Goons twice in one season if it came to that...

GO HILLBILLIES!!!!

Good to meet you and your family, especially the big kid, before the game! Please feel free to stop by before the last game with BYU especially considering the parking advantages in our location!!!

Yes sir, it was great to meet you as well! We will know more if we can make it to the BYU game in the coming weeks. Hopefully, we are still playing football ourselves. Our 1st playoff game is on Friday.
