Publisher’s Note: This is the 14th installment of the Pokes Report NIL Journal for the 2023 football season. Alan Bowman will no longer have to pay for his own beer in Stillwater and Payne County after helping to lead Oklahoma State to a win in the final scheduled edition of the Bedlam rivalry. The Cowboys are on a five-game winning streak, still tied for first-place in the Big 12 Conference, and ranked No. 15 in the College Football Playoff Rankings.

I generally think Sam Mayes is balanced compared to most OKC journalists but still more towards the OU side. But I heard him after this game being openly very happy OSU won, stating Bowman was the better qb in this game and the best player on OSU's team in this game. He also gave huge cudo's to the OSU crowd for being unbelievable and greatly affecting this game.

I swear he has split personalities because he will rage about OSU and Gundy one second and then praise them the next second! Lord it must be hard to go through life like that!!!

Sam goes whichever way the wind blows. Always has. He is not "loyal and true". I have no use for him or Jim Traitor. My image of Traitor is him under center, the ball being snapped and goes five feet in the air and he fumbles it. No use for any of those OKC hacks. Once the Sewerners are SEC fodder, those hacks will feed on themselves. Karma is a beach!
