John Smith Talks Cowboy Wrestling as Pokes Open Friday with Bucknell

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State is looking to bounce back from a rough 2022-23 season where they finished 18^th in the NCAA Championships,  the worst finish under all-time winningest wrestling coach John Smith. The Oklahoma State dual record was 14-3, but as a tournament team the Cowboys struggled. This season they open with a line up that features five and potentially as many as seven new starters. Smith is going to wrestle some true freshmen, which hasn’t happened often.
