STILLWATER – For those unaware of Oklahoma State’s weekly routine up in the West End Zone football coaches offices. All day Sunday is review with a staff meeting plugged in their somewhere. The coaches watch the previous game on their own and grade their players. They will watch it as a group to review and evaluate plans and prepare for corrections with players in Monday meetings and practices.

"...and the rain came..."

I hate that this is even mentioned. It rains on both teams, the same amount.

This feels different than KSU last year. We are not beat up in the same way we were last year.

The offensive coaches need a better game plan. I noticed Mike Yurcich was fired today by Penn State. HC said they needed more creativity, more passes allowing the QB to get into a rhythm. We got three points against a team that hasn't stopped anyone this season. We need to hold our OC accountable at some point.

So who followed the South Alabama game plan after our contest with them? I am curious to know who did!!!!

I am curious why only the OC, isn't it time to also question our DC why our secondary continues to get lit up???

Fair enough. But for now, I'm willing to give DC more than this year to figure this out. Knowles didn't do well at first either. We've had more than enough however of OC. Years and years.

I don't follow other teams and stats that closely, so maybe someone else knows. Are we the only team beating ranked opponents and then losing a game by 40ish points (to teams not named Georgia)?

you have to mention the rain, my goodness.

We had made 2 mistakes that cost us points, we were now having to play from behind, which likely means more passing than preferred, and then the rain came --- practically dashing all hopes of a quick come back from our mistakes.

Sure it rained on them too, but they had the lead, and they didn't have to start taking chances.

of course you have to mention the rain, it came at a critical moment of the game for OSU.

Rain actually exposed our inability to come back from multiple scores. This offense is not made for it. We are single dimensional team who want to take a lead and dictate the game flow. If we fall behind, we are mostly done.

The rain and TOs definitely did not help. They certainly has to be mentioned. 3 points against a team which has a really bad defense is not good, rain or not.

His name is Lyrik Rawls, he is probably our best deep safety, plus at 6'1 215 lbs he was also physical and could body up on opposing receivers! We have tried a combination of three different people at the position with varying degrees of success or failure and the inconsistency hasn't helped! His loss really hurt the back end of the unit! Good to see you are now a paying member of this site, you get a lot more access to things like Roberts article today that discusses the tie breaker system to be discussed and probably modified by the CEOs tomorrow to account for head to head results being the top scenario used in determining who will play in the Big XII championship game!!!

Combination of things poor game plan by Casey . Poor blocking by OL changing bothe scenes was costly. It's like he didn't even really study the film and just took the same game plan from Southern AlabamaYou
