Freshman Jamyron Keller Drops 18 Points in 96-68 Drubbing of New Orleans
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State freshman Jamyron Keller dropped a career-high 18 points to help get the Pokes back in the win column Monday evening as they rolled to a 96-68 win over New Orleans.
WIth the win, the Cowboys move to 2-3 on the season and will play host to Houston Christian ths coming Friday, Nov. 24 at 7 p.m. CT. Tipoff will be streamed on ESPN+.
Keller had the best game of his OSU career so far as the freshman out of Ellison HS in Killeen, TX, dropped 18 points on an impressive 7-of-10 shooting from the floor, including going 4-of-7 from 3-point range in just 24 minutes off the bench.
Keller was joined in double-digits by fellow freshman Eric Daily Jr., who dropped 14 points on 5-of-8 shooting from the floor. Dailey was just one rebound shy of his first career double-double as he finished with nine boards and four assists.

Three other Cowboys finished with double figures as Javon Small finished with 16 points, Mike Marsh with 13 points and John-Michael Wright with 11 points.

As a team, the Cowboys were dominant from the floor as they shot 58% from the field and outrebounded the Privateers 41-25, including a 28-19 clip on the defensive end of the court. They did, however, shoot a paltry 58% from the free throw line, including missing the first eight shots from the charity stripe to start the second half.
Just a few minutes before Marsh sunk the second of two free throws to give the Pokes their first made free throw of the second half with just 7:38 left in the game, a layup by freshman Brandon Garrison started a 24-3 run over the course of six minutes, putting the Pokes up 87-61.
