STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State football team moved up to No. 18 in the fifth edition of the College Football Playoff Rankings, which were released Tuesday evening. The Cowboys have been included in all five releases of the CFP Rankings, their first time doing so since being ranked in every poll of the 2021 season.

OSU was one of four Big 12 members included in Tuesday’s poll, joining No. 7 Texas, No. 12 Oklahoma and No. 25 Kansas State. With wins over the Sooners and Wildcats, Oklahoma State finished the regular season with a 2-0 record against teams included in Tuesday’s CFP Ranking.

Oklahoma State is set to face seventh-ranked Texas in the Dr. Pepper Big 12 Championship game on Saturday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The game is slated for 11 a.m. CT on ABC.

Following the conclusion of this weekend’s conference championship games, the final set of the College Football Playoff Rankings will be released on Sunday, Dec. 3, at 11 a.m. CT.
