Cowboys Now Wait with Another Trip to Houston Looking Like the Top Bowl Prospect

ARLINGTON, Texas – We;ll go back and look at the 49-21 loss to Texas in the Big 12 Championship Game. Suffice in short to say Texas is more talented and played with a chip on their shoulder feeling they were on the outside looking in to the CFP. That may have changed with Alabama’s upset of Georgia in the SEC Championship Game. However, we’re not concerned with Texas other than they could make the playoff interesting.

Looks like Bob Iger, Disney Corporation and ESPN Chairman called the the CFP Committee and told them

to put The Crimson Tide in the final four over the Seminoles. The College Football Playoff is a TV show first

and foremost. Alabama and Texas of the SEC and Michigan and Washington of the Big 10 bring lots

of eyeballs and fans to the equation. It appears that NC State AD and CFP Chairman Boo Corrigan sold

fellow ACC member Florida State down the river. Corrigan didn't stand up for his Wolfpack baseball team that

was high jacked by the NCAA at the 2021 College World Series either.

My television screen got awful dirty this morning while watching ESPN. The screen cleared up when I turned

the channel to Fox News.

Yes the committee confirmed they are a joke and biased towards certain teams/conferences. This isn't new just reaffirmed. We just continued to devalue the collegiate experience in the name of the almighty dollar. It's getting harder to watch and support.

yeah, that's pretty sad ....

I'm not sure when they switched from most deserving teams, to "best teams". They all agree that FSU was the most deserving (as all 12-0 conference champions are), but somehow concoct these biased self-serving statistics to promote the teams that they want to see, regardless of who is most deserving.

The moron committee just could not fathom a playoff with no SEC teams involved, while much of the rest of the world would be just fine with it. The other conferences have been omitted from the playoff, but not the media proclaimed "best" SEC.

All the "rankings", SOS, and vs top teams is all based on their own biased self-fulfilling prophecies.

Common sense dictates that all undefeated P5 conferences champions are IN, and then their silly statistics and biases should be used to settle any tie-breakers.

All about the entitled BS SEC $$$$. Time to force the evolution of college football into the Sankey/ESPN NFL model and those left out go on their way.
