Oklahoma State linebacker Nick Martin just entered the record books. Against Texas A&M in the Texas Bowl, Martin recorded his 134 tackle of the season, giving him the most tackles in a single-season for the Pokes since 1986.

Just behind Martin is Orie Lemon with 133, Malcolm Rodroguez with 130, Keith Burns with 126 and Raymond Cato with 119.

It puts him 10th all-time.

Entering the game against A&M, Martin had recorded 133 total tackles, 77 of which were solo stops, 16.0 tackles for loss, including six sacks, nine quarterback hurries and two interceptions.

He set a season-high 17 tackles against Kansas State and West Virginia. He’d finish the game against Texas A&M with seven tackles, taking him to 140 total tackles on the season, good for 10th all time in program history,
