The redshirt senior out of Putnam City had a solid senior as an interior defensive lineman. He recorded 14 total tackles, 10 of which were solo stops. He also recorded 3.5 tackles for loss for 17 yards, 2.5 sacks for 16 yards and one quarterback hurry.
Clay left the Texas Bowl in the fourth quarter with a knee injury, but it’s not a serious injury and shouldn’t miss the offseason or spring football.
Clay started his career at Arkansas and recorded 32 total tackles as a true freshman. He then transferred to Oklahoma State where he missed two seasons due to separate knee injuries.
