STILLWATER – The 2024 schedule is out with dates and no times. Times will be determined later by the television partners of the Big 12 (ESPN and FOX). The only time that would appear to be of any major concern would be Nov. 29 at Colorado. Folsom Field in Boulder, Colo. could be a winter wonderland on Thanksgiving weekend, so a night time kickoff is not desired, at least by this sideline reporter.

Interesting, but you might want to wait until after Spring Paractice Period to make these predictions so you get past the second portal period and know exactly what your fall roster looks like!!!

Wow! I'm optimistic about the Pokes for next season but don't see 7 wins by 10+ points.

I can definitely see us scoring a lot but I agree. I didn't see anything at all that would lead me to believe we are going to hold teams too often.

I like the return to more multiple looks on defense and the return of Nick Martin, Collin Oliver, the young secondary a year older, and most of the defensive line back. I think the defense will be a year better much like the progression with JIm Knowles. Gundy had to tweak his stuff and Gundy is tweaking on defense again.

I see a 10-2 with equal chances of 9-3 or 11-1 - all barring major injuries. WVU has an absolutely brutal schedule with OOC games vs PSU and Pitt. KSUs schedule is really tough with Tulane on top of their B12 slate. The Tacos in Lubbock are continuing the hype machine and predicting a B12 CCG appearance, but they'll be lucky to go 8-4. I don't see coach Prime getting more than 5 wins. If KU can stay healthy at QB, they have the schedule to get them to Arlington.

Robert--Agreed about your optimism for the LB's and secondary. Does Goodlow, Latu, or Waltersheid have any eligibility remaining? They got the lion's share of the snaps and production at DE.

No on Goodlow and Latu, Walterscheid does, not sure he will use it. I'm excited and it is time for Brown, Johnson, and Jaedon Foreman. You have Xaver Ross, Landon Dean. Plus the transfer Obi Ezigbo. Add to that Collin Oliver and Nick Martin, who will rush in certain situations. I agree it can be scary transitioning, but Brown (6-3, 260) Johnson (6-4, 255), and Foreman (6-5, 255) are outrageously athletic and ready to move in.

Those players I mentioned are all defensive ends or edge rushers. Aden is a defensive tackles that rotated as a three this season. He will be back with the defensive tackles next season and should contineu to get better.
