Oklahoma State Claims Another PWO in Tight End Dominic Grein from Tonkawa
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State is on a run of preferred walk-on commitments and this one looks like a gem to go along with quarterback Garret Wilson from Oklahoma Christian School. The new announcement came from Tonkawa, Okla. defensive end and tight end Dominic Grein. Grein was more productive on the defensive side of the footbaall with 248 total tackles and 64.5 tackles-for-loss over the past two seasons playing on the defensive line, end and tackle. Over those two seasons the Buccaneers were 16-6 with wins and losses.
Grein is 6-7, 215 pounds and has plenty of room to get bigger and already has a huge catch frame.

He lists a 4.7 in the forty, which is awesome for an athlete his size. At tight end he has been more valuable as a blocker with only six receptions for 77-yards and a touchdown. He is a huge target and has all kinds of opportunity to develop with his size and athletic skills. He is an outstanding student with a 4.0 GPA
At the Class 2A level he is a man among boys and watching his junior season on defense he just dominated. Then watching his senior season on offense, he often lined up outside and was such an incredible target that I’m surprised he wasn’t used more. However, his value on defense was still strong. He caught some big passes. The best highlight is where he is lined up as an in-line tight end and comes off to pancake a linebacker arching back toward the middle of the field for the block and then releasing further downhill and he pancakes a safety before the linebacker can even get up. Two down at once is a highlight favorite of mine for tight ends. Again, the level of competition is nothing like Big 12 Power Five, but I’m anxious to see how he develops
