Oklahoma State Releases Spring Football Roster
STILLWATER – It’s going to be near 90 degrees today, February 27, so what better day for Oklahoma State football to release the updated roster ahead of spring football?
There are only a handful of number changes from top to bottom, most notably receiver De’Zhaun Stribling has moved from No. 88 up to No. 1.
You can view the complete roster here.
2024 Number | 2023 Number | Name | Pos. |

Going through the roster, there’s also been a number of players either gaining or losing weight. Let’s go through the most significant, shall we? One of the biggest names I noticed was safety Kendal Daniels, who played the 2023 season at 213 pounds. Well, he’s up to an impressive 230 pounds now. Quarterback Alan Bowman has also put on some weight as he’s up to 220 from 209 in 2023.
Another big gain is receiver Rashod Owens, who’s gone from 219 poiunds up to 230. Safety Dylan Smith’s jumped up 15 pounds from 170 to 185 and defensive tackle Aden Kelley, who a lot of people have high hopes for, is going to be playing at a much more effective 315 pounds this season as he’s gained 20 pounds this offseason.
The biggest weight gains have understandably come from the freshmen this past season. Safety Kam Franklin is up 10 pounds to 200 pounds, receiver Jalen Pope is one of the biggest gainers as he’s put on 20 pounds and is up to 205 and Tywon Wray Jr. is up a whopping 25 pounds to 210. Another big gainer is linebacker Gabe Brown who’s up to 240 pounds from 224.
And now the list most people are interested in, the newcomers. Listed below are either incoming freshmen or transfers.
