Oklahoma State Football Continues Important Offseason Work

STILLWATER – It may feel like football is out of sight and out of mind. That might be fair for the fan base, although I’m averaging 2-3 questions a day from Cowboys fans on why Las Vegas and the online oddsmakers don’t seem to be as enthusiastic about the 2024 season and Cowboys fans are. While the next month of so will be very quiet with football and even for the bulk of fans so will March and April, this is a critical time for Oklahoma State football.

regarding the projections by Vegas... last year at this time we stopped the competition challenge because Coach wanted to spend the time implementing the new defense, and the changes to the offense (eliminating the cowboy back). According to all accounts that was time well spent.

The team should be familiar with those changes this time around, so wouldn't it seem we're ahead of where we were last year, and shouldn't that have a positive impact on the Vegas projections?
